Here for sale is a used Shires 7YLW T25-47 tenor trombone with dual bore quart valve. New price: about 5500€. The now legendary trombone company S.E.Shires has gained worldwide attention from trombonists over the past few decades. Many of the most famous stars such as Joe Alessi, Blair Bollinger, George Curran, Michael Davis and Marshall Gilkes play Shires. This instrument was built about 5 years ago and recently overhauled by us.

What makes this professional Shires tenor trombone stand out:

    • Large but agile sound. Bright and radiant.
    • The train is running great. No chrome loss.
    • This instrument has a tapered pull with .525 (13.34mm)/ .547″ (13.90mm) bore. The bell is Ø 8,5″ (216,00mm)

    • Yellow brass bell, yellow brass slide.
    • As a lubricant, we recommend the Yamaha Slide Lubricant or Slide-O-Mix Rapid Comfort for this Bach.

    – Generally not, as mouthpieces are a highly individual matter. If a mouthpiece is included, I write it explicitly in the item description. If you need a mouthpiece, I have a large selection. If you have any questions, please contact me.

    – As a rule, all instruments are overhauled and / or workshop serviced. I only sell instruments that are in such good condition that I would use them professionally myself. If an instrument is not directly playable, I will clearly state this in the item description.

    – I deal in instruments that I am enthusiastic about myself and that I can recommend with a clear conscience. These are almost exclusively professional series from the largest and most exquisite manufacturers.
