About the history of this great instrument: CGConn is one of the leading American manufacturers of trombones.

You can feel the excellent quality of this American handcraft immediately!

The 8h is the valveless version of the 88h. It is one of the most popular instruments for classical music worldwide and is often seen in symphony orchestras.

The instrument was manufactured in 1988 and we recently overhauled it for you.


What distinguishes this professional Conn 8h tenor trombone:
  • Direct response, beautiful, full sound.
  • The train runs well. No chrome loss.
  • This instrument has a cylindrical slide (single bore). The bore is .547" (13.89mm), the bell 8.5" (216mm).
  • The instrument is varnished and the varnish is in good condition. It is gold varnish.
  • "Artist Symphony" engraving.

– Yes, during opening hours or by appointment in our shop with workshop in Mölln.

I have no way of coming to Mölln. Can I still play the instruments?

– Yes, that is possible. The easiest way is to place a normal order. Then you have a 30-day right of return after receiving the goods and can test the instrument at your leisure at home, in class or at a rehearsal. Shipping and returns are free for you in Germany anyway. If you still don't want to order, please contact us and we will find a solution.

Who is behind Elbblech?

- New instruments are always delivered with a mouthpiece. Used instruments are not, in most cases. We have a large selection of mouthpieces and are happy to advise you individually when purchasing a mouthpiece.

Are the instruments playable straight away?

– As a rule, all instruments are serviced and/or serviced in a workshop. I only sell instruments that are in such good condition that I would use them professionally myself. If an instrument is not immediately playable, I write this clearly in the item description.
