For sale here is a used BAC Trombone Shorty tenor trombone.

About the history of this great instrument:

The BAC Artist Trombone Shorty was made to order and according to the wishes of trombone star "Trombone Shorty".

It was produced in a very limited edition (50 or 75 pieces) and only distributed through the "Trombone Shorty Foundation", not officially sold.

BAC Musical Instruments was founded in 2004 by Mike Corrigan. The manufacturer's high-quality instruments can be seen on the biggest stages, such as Wynton Marsalis' Jazz at Lincoln Center, Trombone Shorty, Bruno Mars, Kool and the Gang, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift and many others.

The trombone was built in 2011 and we have recently overhauled it for you.

What distinguishes this professional BAC tenor trombone:

  • Powerful, beautiful sound and easy playability.
  • From the "Artist" series.
  • The train runs fine. No chrome loss.
  • The bell is Ø 8" (203mm)
  • Gold brass bell, nickel silver outer slide, yellow brass tuning slide and neckpipe.
  • Very nice, large and elaborate engraving.
  • I recommend using BAC Slide-O-Mix Rapid Comfort as a lubricant.
  • Year of construction is 2011.

Condition of this BAC after intensive testing:

  • The train runs great. No chrome loss.
  • The tuning slide is freely movable.
  • The water valve is tight and works perfectly.
  • Stop felt is available.
  • Rubber stopper is available.
  • The bell is brushed on the outside, polished to a high gloss on the inside and then varnished. A very nice look. The varnish has a few minor signs of wear.
  • The handles are also in good condition.
  • The instrument was recently overhauled by us and is now perfectly playable.
I am a professional musician myself and have tested this trombone thoroughly and found it to be flawless. That is why we offer a 2-year guarantee.

Is it possible to play the instruments in the store?

– Yes, during opening hours or by appointment in our shop with workshop in Mölln.

I have no way of coming to Mölln. Can I still play the instruments?

– Yes, that is possible. The easiest way is to place a normal order. Then you have a 30-day right of return after receiving the goods and can test the instrument at your leisure at home, in class or at a rehearsal. Shipping and returns are free for you in Germany anyway. If you still don't want to order, please contact us and we will find a solution.

Who is behind Elbblech?

- New instruments are always delivered with a mouthpiece. Used instruments are not, in most cases. We have a large selection of mouthpieces and are happy to advise you individually when purchasing a mouthpiece.

Are the instruments playable straight away?

– As a rule, all instruments are serviced and/or serviced in a workshop. I only sell instruments that are in such good condition that I would use them professionally myself. If an instrument is not immediately playable, I write this clearly in the item description.

Do you also ship outside of Germany?
