A great used trombone mouthpiece

  • A rare Brassark Mr. Bass bass trombone mouthpiece
  • Inner diameter: 27.15 mm
  • Made by hand.
  • Bach 1-1/2G inner diameter of 27.15 mm
  • this mouthpiece was designed specifically for the commercial bass trombonist and was inspired by a vintage mouthpiece made in the 1960s for George Roberts, "Mr. Bass Trombone"
  • ideal for players looking for a 1-1/2G mouthpiece with a little more space in the cup, powerful foundation and a singing sound in the middle and upper registers
  • Unique design, very high quality workmanship.
  • Good, used condition.
  • Pleasant edge in good condition.
  • Very clear sound, makes playing particularly effortless. Sound rich in overtones.
  • Dear mouthpiece buyers: Not every mouthpiece fits every trombone. Please check BEFORE you buy whether the mouthpiece on offer fits your trombone. If in doubt, please contact me. THANK YOU!!
  • If you already have a mouthpiece that fits your trombone: Please measure the outside diameter at the bottom of the shaft. A mouthpiece with a small shaft has a diameter of approx. 10.8mm. A mouthpiece with a large shaft has a diameter of approx. 12.7mm.

Why is it worth buying from me?
The satisfaction and trust of our customers is our top priority.
That's why we offer advantages that you won't get from any private seller:
  • All instruments have been extensively tested by professionals, freshly serviced and cleaned. No nasty surprises (The slide is stuck! The tuning slide is not movable! The intonation is bad!). Any repairs are often very expensive and often far outweigh the hoped-for "savings".
  • High-quality photos that show everything, even the smallest defects on the instrument: honesty in the product description is of the utmost importance to me. There is nothing worse than spending money on an instrument only to later discover things that were not visible in the pictures. Do you want detailed photos of a specific part of the instrument? I can send you specially made photos if you wish. With us you really know where you stand!
  • Professional advice: Do you want to play lead in a big band? Are you in a fire brigade orchestra? Do you want to play Mahler 5? Has your 10-year-old child just started trombone lessons? I am a professional trombonist and trombone teacher myself and can give you comprehensive advice. Requirements, wishes and budgets are not the same for everyone.
  • Upon purchase, you will be issued an invoice in accordance with Section 25 UStG.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is it possible to play the instruments in the store?

– Yes, during opening hours or by appointment in our shop with workshop in Mölln.

I have no way of coming to Mölln. Can I still play the instruments?

– Yes, that is possible. The easiest way is to place a normal order. Then you have a 30-day right of return after receiving the goods and can test the instrument at your leisure at home, in class or at a rehearsal. Shipping and returns are free for you in Germany anyway. If you still don't want to order, please contact us and we will find a solution.

Who is behind Elbblech?

– That's me, Felix Eilers, a professional trombonist and managing director. Instrument maker Danilo Neun works in the workshop and in sales in our shop in Mölln. We are also supported by our partner workshops "Trompetentobi".

Do you also buy instruments?

– Yes, please feel free to contact me via this page if you have something to offer.

Is it possible to contact you by telephone?

– Yes, please feel free to contact me via this page if you have something to offer.

Are the instruments delivered with a mouthpiece?

- New instruments are always delivered with a mouthpiece. Used instruments are not, in most cases. We have a large selection of mouthpieces and are happy to advise you individually when purchasing a mouthpiece.

Are the instruments playable straight away?

– As a rule, all instruments are serviced and/or serviced in a workshop. I only sell instruments that are in such good condition that I would use them professionally myself. If an instrument is not immediately playable, I write this clearly in the item description.

Do you also ship outside of Germany?

Yes, we have been shipping worldwide for many years.

Is it safe to buy from Elbblech?

– My customers say: “Yes!”. On Ebay, for example, I have over 500 positive reviews, 100% of which are positive and 5 stars in all subcategories. We now enjoy an excellent reputation worldwide for our services and products.
