About the history of this great instrument:

CGConn is one of the leading American manufacturers of trombones.

You can feel the excellent quality of this American handcraft immediately!

The 5H is Conn's "lightweight" version of the legendary 6h. The train is noticeably lighter.

This instrument was built in 1975 and has recently been overhauled by us for you.

What distinguishes this professional Conn 5h Victor jazz trombone:

  • Nice jazz sound, easy to play.
  • Yellow brass bell, yellow brass outer slide.
  • Small "Victor" engraving
  • This instrument has a cylindrical slide with 12.7mm / 0.500" diameter. The bell is 203mm (8")
  • Built in 1975, freshly serviced by us, ready to play.

Condition of these 5 hours after intensive testing:

  • The train runs fine, no wear.
  • The tuning slide is freely movable.
  • The varnish has some discoloration / streaks in the bell area.
  • Felt stop is available

Is it possible to play the instruments in the store?

– Yes, during opening hours or by appointment in our shop with workshop in Mölln.

I have no way of coming to Mölln. Can I still play the instruments?

– Yes, that is possible. The easiest way is to place a normal order. Then you have a 30-day right of return after receiving the goods and can test the instrument at your leisure at home, in class or at a rehearsal. Shipping and returns are free for you in Germany anyway. If you still don't want to order, please contact us and we will find a solution.

Who is behind Elbblech?

– That's me, Felix Eilers, a professional trombonist and managing director. Instrument maker Danilo Neun works in the workshop and in sales in our shop in Mölln. We are also supported by our partner workshops "Trompetentobi".

- New instruments are always delivered with a mouthpiece. Used instruments are not, in most cases. We have a large selection of mouthpieces and are happy to advise you individually when purchasing a mouthpiece.

Are the instruments playable straight away?

– As a rule, all instruments are serviced and/or serviced in a workshop. I only sell instruments that are in such good condition that I would use them professionally myself. If an instrument is not immediately playable, I write this clearly in the item description.
