 About the history of this great instrument:

CGConn is one of the leading American manufacturers of trombones.

This model was specially designed for Swedish trombone star Christian Lindberg and has the unique, large CL2000 valve.

The 88h is one of the most popular classical music instruments in the world and is often seen in symphony orchestras. The HCL has an improved valve.

The trombone was built in the 2000s and recently overhauled by us. New price: 5,558€

What distinguishes this professional Conn 88hcl tenor trombone: 

  • Very freely vibrating instrument with a great sound and sensational pull.
  • The train runs great. No chrome loss.
  • This instrument has a cylindrical slide (single bore). The bore is .547" (13.89mm), the bell 8.5" (216mm).
  • The single-valve tenor trombone has the tuning Bb/F
  • Beautiful "coat of arms" engraving.

Is it possible to play the instruments in the store?

– Yes, during opening hours or by appointment in our shop with workshop in Mölln.

I have no way of coming to Mölln. Can I still play the instruments?

– Yes, that is possible. The easiest way is to place a normal order. Then you have a 30-day right of return after receiving the goods and can test the instrument at your leisure at home, in class or at a rehearsal. Shipping and returns are free for you in Germany anyway. If you still don't want to order, please contact us and we will find a solution.

Who is behind Elbblech?

- New instruments are always delivered with a mouthpiece. Used instruments are not, in most cases. We have a large selection of mouthpieces and are happy to advise you individually when purchasing a mouthpiece.

Are the instruments playable straight away?

– As a rule, all instruments are serviced and/or serviced in a workshop. I only sell instruments that are in such good condition that I would use them professionally myself. If an instrument is not immediately playable, I write this clearly in the item description.
