For sale here is an Edwards T-350E tenor trombone, an excellent professional instrument. New price: €5,929

The American trombone manufacturer "Edwards" is a subsidiary of the Getzen company.

Here, generations-old knowledge of brass instrument making is passed on and further developed.

Edwards focuses on building so-called "custom" trombones, which are highly customizable and enjoy an excellent reputation worldwide.

Notable artists who have played Edwards include James Markey, Clifton Anderson, Dave Gibson, Toby Oft, Trombone Shorty and many others.

The instrument was built in 2007 and has recently been overhauled by us for you.

What distinguishes this professional Edwards tenor trombone:

  • Great, modern instrument for classical music.
  • The train runs great. No chrome loss.
  • This instrument has a cylindrical slide with .547" (13.9mm) L-bore. The bell is Ø 8.5" (216mm)
  • Yellow brass bell, yellow brass outer slide.
  • I recommend Edwards Slide-O-Mix Rapid Comfort as a lubricant.
  • One (1) replaceable leadpipes.
  • The original Thayer valve sounds open and responds quickly.
  • Engraving on the bell
  • Components: 336CF Bell : 22 gauge, soldered rim, hardened, double polished yellow brass. The TBCN slide is a yellow brass outer slide with a square nickel silver slide bow with a wide scale.

Condition of this Edwards after intensive examination:

  • The train runs great. No chrome loss.
  • The tuning slides are freely movable.
  • Rubber stopper is available.
  • Stop felt is available.
  • The paint has some signs of wear, see pictures.
  • The handles are in good condition
  • The instrument was recently overhauled by us and is now ready to play.
I am a professional musician myself and have tested this trombone thoroughly and found it to be flawless. That is why we offer a 2-year guarantee.

Accessories included:

  • The instrument comes with a very simple gig bag.

Recommendation from me as a professional musician:

  • The Edwards is one of the best tenor trombones for classical music.
  • I recommend Edwards Slide-O-Mix Rapid Comfort as a lubricant.
  • The instrument should be cleaned regularly from the inside, e.g. with a Reka care set.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is it possible to play the instruments in the store?

– Yes, during opening hours or by appointment in our shop with workshop in Mölln.

I have no way of coming to Mölln. Can I still play the instruments?

– Yes, that is possible. The easiest way is to place a normal order. Then you have a 30-day right of return after receiving the goods and can test the instrument at your leisure at home, in class or at a rehearsal. Shipping and returns are free for you in Germany anyway. If you still don't want to order, please contact us and we will find a solution.

Who is behind Elbblech?

– That's me, Felix Eilers, a professional trombonist and managing director. Instrument maker Danilo Neun works in the workshop and in sales in our shop in Mölln. We are also supported by our partner workshops "Trompetentobi".

Do you also buy instruments?

– Yes, please feel free to contact me via this page if you have something to offer.

Is it possible to contact you by telephone?

– Yes, please feel free to contact me via this page if you have something to offer.

Are the instruments delivered with a mouthpiece?

- New instruments are always delivered with a mouthpiece. Used instruments are not, in most cases. We have a large selection of mouthpieces and are happy to advise you individually when purchasing a mouthpiece.

Are the instruments playable straight away?

– As a rule, all instruments are serviced and/or serviced in a workshop. I only sell instruments that are in such good condition that I would use them professionally myself. If an instrument is not immediately playable, I write this clearly in the item description.

Do you also ship outside of Germany?

Yes, we have been shipping worldwide for many years.

Is it safe to buy from Elbblech?

– My customers say: “Yes!”. On Ebay, for example, I have over 500 positive reviews, 100% of which are positive and 5 stars in all subcategories. We now enjoy an excellent reputation worldwide for our services and products.
