For sale here is a used King 3b 2103 jazz trombone. A brilliant jazz instrument!

About the history of this great instrument:

King is one of the world's largest and most recognized manufacturers of brass instruments. The trombone offered here is an instrument “Made in USA”. You can immediately see and feel the high quality of workmanship of the instrument. Many great “trombone heroes” such as JJ Johnson, Kai Winding, Ed Neumeister, Adrian Mears, Jiggs Whigham and many others play a King. It was built in 1987 and we have recently overhauled it for you.

What distinguishes this professional King 3b 2103 jazz trombone:

  • Easy to play, clear articulation, beautiful jazz sound
  • The train runs great. No wear.
  • The slide is cylindrical with a 12.9mm/ .508″ bore. The bell is 203mm/ 8″ wide.
  • Yellow brass bell, nickel silver slide.
  • As a lubricant I recommend 3b Slide-O-Mix Rapid Comfort or Yamaha Slide Lubricant.
  • The instrument was built around 1987 and has recently been overhauled by us for you.

Condition of this 3b 2103 after intensive testing:

  • The train runs well. No wear.
  • The tuning slide is freely movable
  • Stop felt is available.
  • Rubber stopper / parquet protector is available.
  • The instrument is in good condition.
  • Beautiful, minimalist “2103” engraving.
  • The instrument has been stripped of varnish and has a light patina. This will continue to develop.
  • The handles are also in good condition.
  • The instrument was recently overhauled by us and is now perfectly playable.

Is it possible to play the instruments in the store?

– Yes, during opening hours or by appointment in our shop with workshop in Mölln.

I have no way of coming to Mölln. Can I still play the instruments?

– Yes, that is possible. The easiest way is to place a normal order. Then you have a 30-day right of return after receiving the goods and can test the instrument at your leisure at home, in class or at a rehearsal. Shipping and returns are free for you in Germany anyway. If you still don't want to order, please contact us and we will find a solution.

Who is behind Elbblech?

– That's me, Felix Eilers, a professional trombonist and managing director. Instrument maker Danilo Neun works in the workshop and in sales in our shop in Mölln. We are also supported by our partner workshops "Trompetentobi".

- New instruments are always delivered with a mouthpiece. Used instruments are not, in most cases. We have a large selection of mouthpieces and are happy to advise you individually when purchasing a mouthpiece.

Are the instruments playable straight away?

– As a rule, all instruments are serviced and/or serviced in a workshop. I only sell instruments that are in such good condition that I would use them professionally myself. If an instrument is not immediately playable, I write this clearly in the item description.

Do you also ship outside of Germany?
