For sale here is a used Yamaha YSL-356G tenor trombone.

About the history of this great instrument: The traditional Japanese company Yamaha was founded in 1887. Starting out as an organ manufacturer, the company now produces a huge range of wind instruments since 1965.

Yamaha trombones impress with their excellent workmanship, perfect intonation and equally high quality control.

Yamaha artists include Robin Eubanks, Michael Dease, Wycliffe Gordon, Andy Martin, Steve Turre and many others.

The 356G is a very well thought-out, excellently playable tenor trombone with a beautiful sound and good intonation.

It is a few years old and was recently overhauled by us.

What makes this Yamaha trombone special:
  • Balanced, beautiful sound in all registers, great mechanics, good intonation.
  • The train runs well. Minimal signs of wear.
  • This instrument has a cylindrical slide with .500" (12.7mm) S-bore. The bell is Ø 8" (204.4mm)
  • Brass bell
  • For the train I recommend Slide-O-Mix Rapid Comfort.
  • The serial number is 001XXX.

Condition of this 356G after intensive testing:
  • The train is playable. Minimal signs of wear.
  • The tuning slides are freely movable.
  • The water valve is tight and works perfectly.
  • Rubber stopper is available.
  • Stop felt is available.
  • The valve works quickly and quietly.
  • The paint shows signs of wear.
  • The handles are in good condition.
  • The instrument was recently overhauled by us and is now perfectly playable.
I am a professional musician myself and have tested this trombone thoroughly and found it to be flawless. That is why we offer a 2-year guarantee.

Included accessories: • The instrument with a simple case or gig bag.

Recommendation from me as a professional musician:
  • The 356G is a technically well-implemented trombone for beginners, advanced players and those returning to the instrument.
  • The instrument should be cleaned regularly from the inside, e.g. with a Reka care set.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is it possible to play the instruments in the store?

– Yes, during opening hours or by appointment in our shop with workshop in Mölln.

I have no way of coming to Mölln. Can I still play the instruments?

– Yes, that is possible. The easiest way is to place a normal order. Then you have a 30-day right of return after receiving the goods and can test the instrument at your leisure at home, in class or at a rehearsal. Shipping and returns are free for you in Germany anyway. If you still don't want to order, please contact us and we will find a solution.

Who is behind Elbblech?

– That's me, Felix Eilers, a professional trombonist and managing director. Instrument maker Danilo Neun works in the workshop and in sales in our shop in Mölln. We are also supported by our partner workshops "Trompetentobi".

Do you also buy instruments?

– Yes, please feel free to contact me via this page if you have something to offer.

Is it possible to contact you by telephone?

– Yes, please feel free to contact me via this page if you have something to offer.

Are the instruments delivered with a mouthpiece?

- New instruments are always delivered with a mouthpiece. Used instruments are not, in most cases. We have a large selection of mouthpieces and are happy to advise you individually when purchasing a mouthpiece.

Are the instruments playable straight away?

– As a rule, all instruments are serviced and/or serviced in a workshop. I only sell instruments that are in such good condition that I would use them professionally myself. If an instrument is not immediately playable, I write this clearly in the item description.

Do you also ship outside of Germany?

Yes, we have been shipping worldwide for many years.

Is it safe to buy from Elbblech?

– My customers say: “Yes!”. On Ebay, for example, I have over 500 positive reviews, 100% of which are positive and 5 stars in all subcategories. We now enjoy an excellent reputation worldwide for our services and products.
